About Andrew Booton

Andrew Booton is a rural business specialist who optimises property and rural estates by linking business strategy, planning and asset management. He has particular interests in diversification, heritage-led regeneration and reuse of previously developed land.

His planning advisory work includes master planning, land exploitation, project management, estate diversification and speculative development. His diverse experience ranges from leading public campaigns against adverse developments all the way to appeal, to securing planning and listed building consents on sensitive buildings.

His first degree was in Urban Development and his Masters was in Rural Estate and Land Management. After 2 decades’ service in the armed forces, he brings military clarity and rigour as well as best practice from the public, private and not-for-profit sectors.
