About Olivia Cooper
Olivia is an award-winning journalist and PR consultant, specialising in rural and agricultural business promotion. She founded Agri-hub in 2013, helping rural businesses to raise their profile while also supplying high quality editorial to the likes of Farmers Weekly, Farmers Guardian, and other specialist publications.
Coming from a farming background, Olivia studied agriculture, law and English at Newcastle University before starting her career as a grain trader in Oxfordshire. She then moved to Farmers Weekly as a business reporter, before relocating to Devon and setting up as an independent freelancer and PR consultant.
She now heads up a team of three in the Agri-hub office, offering everything from ad-hoc press releases to fully integrated PR campaigns. Clients include Old Mill accountants, the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers, the Cereals Event, Kingshay, and the Grassland & Muck Event.
Olivia also sits on the council of the British Guild of Agricultural Journalists and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations. She is a keen amateur racing driver, and lives near Exeter with her husband and 12 year-old twins.
